There was also two extra fleet types besides the stationary planatary defense fleets. Everything else had to be cataloged on a list. We wouldn't bother with starfighters, as there'd be countless of them, though if there was a special PC-squadron, that had to be listed aswell). Made it easier to control our ships and divide them up in space battle, and made it a lot easier process that anyone could do. It gave us a visual representation, and exact number versus "a dozen ships" "hundreds of warships", etc. What consistuted "important" planets was up to the FL leader, but was usually the homeworlds of certain species (ryloth, bothawui, mon calamari), major military installation worlds (kuat, corellia, etc), certain planets along valuable trade routes(taris, coruscant, etc) for example.īasically, once a space battle started, the leader of the space attack would have to list the fleet numbers he took with him, and any invading faction or reinforcement group had to also list their ships. Non-"important" planets had a basic defense fleet usually consisting of one capital ship (usually a star destroyer), two corvettes and two frigates (or two extra star destroyers, or a mixture of the two). ![]() Every major planet had a defense fleet stationary for that planet, incase of attack (usually 10-30 vessels, depending on the size and importance of the planet). I've taken their original system, and tweaked it a bit. ![]() ![]() On another Star Wars Roleplay I was at (A Galaxy Divided/now closed), we had fleet numbers for every faction, as to keep it organized.
